  11. I've got a question about something...
  12. I can't connect at 28.8k or any speed for that matter, to MultiTech 28.8k 
  13. modems... every time I call one up, it does nothing, or connects 
  14. incorrectly.. I checked in the USR's diagnostics, and it said that the 
  15. problem was an XID timeout...
  16. I'm pretty sure that has to do with the ARQ/V.42 features..
  17. does anyone know if the new roms will fix this on the sportster?
  18. or should I just plop down the cash for a Courier...
  19. I think I should have bought a courier in the first place... sure it 
  20. costs about twice as much.. but I should have known better than to go
